Two Trains Running, directed by Gilbert McCauley, explores life in a Pittsburgh diner during the Civil Rights Era. This production highlights the stories of the diner’s staff and regulars, embodying the economic and racial challenges of the late 1960s through the lens of August Wilson’s poignant writing. The cast features Jerome Preston Bates, Jr., David Jennings, and Godfrey L. Simmons, Jr. Performances run from January 23 to February 16, 2025, at Hartford Stage.
