Step into the world of The Great Gatsby with Phoenix Performing Arts’ youth production, a fresh and intimate take on a classic story.
Set in the glamour of the 1920s, this production follows Jay Gatsby, a man driven by love, ambition, and the hope of rewriting his past with Daisy Buchanan. Told through the eyes of Nick Carraway, the story explores friendship, identity, and the cost of chasing a dream that may never have been real.
Performed by a talented cast of young actors, this production highlights the heart of the story, connection, longing, and the illusion of the American Dream, in a way that feels immediate and accessible.

Gael is an 8th grader at Mayfield Middle School. This is his 3rd time on stage with Phoenix Performing Arts. He would like to thank his mom and family for their support.
Makenna Foley
THEDA BARRA
Makenna Foley, who plays Theda, is excited for her first role on stage! She is a freshman at Walsh Jesuit High School and enjoys golfing and snuggling with her dog, Kai. She has previously worked as the stage manager for Little Shop of Horrors and stage crew for Cinderella. Special thanks to Julie Ann and Peyton Yoe for introducing her to Phoenix.
June Frosbrink
JAY GATSBY
June is excited to play the role of Jay Gatsby in The Great Gatsby. She has appeared in many different school productions, along with past Phoenix productions. When not on stage, she plays various different instruments, and is also in her schools band. June would like to thank everybody who has come out to support her.
Tori Gable
MINISTER
Tori is excited to be in her second show with Phoenix Performing Arts. She has previously appeared in Lion King Jr, Shrek The Musical Jr, and Soundscapes, at Miller South VPA. When not on stage, Tori enjoys reading, singing, and dancing. Tori would like to thank Rachel McCann and Paul Stewart for their support.
Brady Katcher
TOM BUCHANAN
Brady is an 8th grader. He is excited to take the stage for the first time with Phoenix Performing Arts. He has previously performed at Western Reserve Playhouse. His favorite role was Charlie in Willy Wonka Jr. He would like to thank his parents for their support.
Allie Lyon
PARTY GUEST | WAITRESS | WILSON’S FRIEND
Allison is a 6th grader at Coventry Middle School. She is excited to be taking the stage again in The Great Gatsby. Allison has appeared as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, Specs in Newsies, and Marie in Aristocat Kids. When she is not on stage, she loves mentoring younger student ona and off the stage at Phoenix and Girl Scouts.
Millie Lyon
GEORGE WILSON | PARTY GUEST | JORDAN BAKER UNDERSTUDY
Millie, 14, is in 8th grade at Coventry Middle School. She is excited to be performing in her first straight play. Millie has previously appeared as a Step-sister in Cinderella, Grandma Addams in the Addams Family, and she is excited to appear this summer in Mean Girls with All City Musical at Akron Civic Theater. When she is not on stage, she enjoys drawing and reading.

MYRTLE WILSON
Lunar is excited to be back with Phoenix playing Myrtle for the great Gatsby! She has done numerous shows, and is glad to be back in the acting scene. Outside of theatre, Lunar enjoys fashion, and working with animals.
Jaci Ripley
DAISY BUCHANAN
Jaci Ripley is excited to play Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby. Previously, Jaci played Snow White in Shrek the Musical, Jr. In her free time, she also is a figure skating and a member of Center Ice Skating Club.
Gemma Sable
MEYER WOLFSHEIM | PARTY GUEST
Gemma is excited to be playing Meyer Wolfsheim in her 2nd show at Phoenix! She is no stranger to the stage, having some of her highlights being in Cinderella at Phoenix, Addams Family Jr at Brecksville and Beetlejuice Jr at Strongsville. She would like to thank her family and friends, and Ms. Amber for this amazing oppurtunity!
Giulia Serpico
NICK CARRAWAY
Giulia is excited to play Nick Carraway in The Great Gatsby. Previous credits include The Cowardly Lion (The Wizard of Oz), Mr.Mushnik (Little Shop of Horrors), and Lionel (Cinderella). When not on stage, she enjoys dancing, singing, and observing life a bit like Nick—thoughtfully and from the sidelines. Giulia thanks her friends and family, and hopes you enjoy the show!

Mason is a current 8th grader at Bio-Med Science Academy. He is very excited to step into the spotlight for the first time after working backstage for several past productions with Phoenix. He loves animation, puppeteering, reading, and raising chickens. His favorite band is Green Day.

Brooklyn is thrilled to debut with Phoenix Performing Arts. A Kimpton Middle School student, she is an avid singer in choir and private lessons. Audiences may remember her as the Wicked Stepmother in Happily Ever Before and a Brave Girl in Peter Pan Jr. She found her passion for theater backstage on Seussical and thanks her parents for their support.
Peyton Yoe
JORDAN BAKER
Peyton is excited to be playing Jordan in The Great Gatsby. She has been in 12 other musicals & most recently was in the ensemble of her high school’s production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. A few other favorite roles include Cinderella & the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz. She is excited to be on stage again with Phoenix Performing Arts. Please enjoy our lovely show!
