Mean Girls at Senney Theater at Beck Center for the Arts

Mean Girls is the Northeast Ohio locally-produced premiere of the Broadway hit musical, written by Tina Fey, with lyrics by Nell Benjamin and music by Jeff Richmond, adapted from Fey's 2004 film. The production is directed by Scott Spence, with musical direction by Bryan Bird and choreography by Lauren Marousek. The story follows Cady Heron, who grew up on an African savanna and finds herself navigating the wild social hierarchy of suburban Illinois, taking on frenemies led by the charming but cutting Regina George. The musical was nominated for 12 Tony Awards and features special added performances on Thursdays July 23, 30, and August 6, 2026.
