ICT's A CLEAR VIEW Opens March 1st

A Clear View: A Series of One Acts is a series of three one act plays which cover the range of theater from comedy to drama so you'll be sure to leave the theater with a fulfilling experience. The show runs March 1, 2; 8, 9; 15, 16, 2019 at 8:00pm with a matinee on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 2:00pm. Tickets are $12.00 for any seat, and can be reserved by calling (216) 447-0443. The theater is located at 6652 Brecksville Rd., Independence, Ohio.
Cleveland's Classic Company at the Hanna Theatre Presents THE TAMING OF THE SHREW

Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland's Classic Company, continues the second half its 57th season with Shakespeare's uproarious battle of the sexes, The Taming of the Shrew. The production will be performed in the company's intimate and audience-friendly home at the Hanna Theatre, Playhouse Square, March 29 - April 14, 2019. Sara Bruner, longtime GLT artistic company member who played the role of Kate in the 2011 GLT production of The Taming of the Shrew, directs. GLT's upcoming production of The Taming of the Shrew features actor Jessika Williams in the show's title role.

Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) and Teatro Publico de Cleveland (TPC) present La Gringa (Spanish), a play by Carmen Rivera, directed by Ernesto Luna Camargo. The play will be performed in Spanish, with English subtitles, by TPC ensemble members and will run February 14 - March 2, 2019, in CPT's James Levin Theatre.
Playhouse Square Presents Sensory-Friendly Performance of THE LION KING

Playhouse Square will present a special performance of Disney's THE LION KING for individuals with sensory sensitivities, autism spectrum disorders and other sensory, social and cognitive challenges or issues and their families on Saturday, August 31 at 1:30 p.m. This marks the first-ever sensory-friendly performance of a touring Broadway show in Cleveland. Playhouse Square has previously presented sensory-friendly performances as part of the Children's Theater Series presented by University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's.

This madcap play about a weekend with the eccentric Bliss family will star the MFA Class of 2020 and a guest performer.  Director Jerrold Scott's production will take the audience back to the 1920's and remind them of the joy of life and fear of boredom.
