Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theater at ECC Arts Center

Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater, in residence at Northeastern Illinois University, celebrates its 48th season as the premier Spanish dance company and center in the United States. Under the dynamic leadership of Irma Suarez Ruiz, artistic director, and Jorge Perez, executive director,  Ensemble Espanol Spanish Dance Theater is comprised of 30 dancers, singers, musicians and guest artists. The company's mission is the preservation, presentation and promotion of the classical, folkloric and contemporary dance and music traditions of Spain.
