Writers Theatre presents Brian Friel’s Irish drama Translations, directed by Braden Abraham. Set in 1833 rural Ireland, the story unfolds as the arrival of British soldiers disrupts the local hedge school, sparking cultural and personal tensions amid the attempts to standardize Irish place names. The cast features Chloe Baldwin, Kevin Gudahl, Erik Hellman, and Tyler Meredith, among others, bringing to life a narrative that explores the complexities of language and communication. This production runs from April 3 to May 4, 2025.
