After last year’s run of sold-out shows, The Uncanny Attic returns with a continuation of death, disaster, and unmitigated literary nonsense. Edward Gorey’s world comes to life, then almost immediately to death, in this second installment where we meet ravenous little boys, ill-fated synchronized swimmers, hapless pranksters, and pedicidal thugs. The Uncanny Attic is an absurdist dark comedy told through puppetry, clowning, dance, live music and an unhealthy dose of death - co-created and co-produced by The Bunny Royale (Jennifer Friedrich) and Bazuka Joe. In The Uncanny Attic catastrophic events happen with utter regularity and its inhabitants, particularly children, are an endangered species.
