The Outsiders, the winner of four 2024 Tony Awards including Best Musical, is set in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1967, where Ponyboy Curtis, his best friend Johnny Cade, and their fellow Greasers dream of who they want to become in a world that refuses to accept them. Directed by Tony Award winner Danya Taymor, the production has been praised for its "refreshing, gritty, and endlessly effective" storytelling. With high-octane choreography, it has been called "more pulse-pounding than anything else on Broadway." The show runs August 4–16, 2026, at the Cadillac Palace Theatre.
