The Beatrix Potter Holiday Party, now in its 11th season, is a trunk and puppet show created by Will Bishop, Lara Carling, Kay Kron, Grace Needlman, and Ray Rehberg, with original music by Ray Rehberg and Charlie Malave, directed by Will Bishop. The show brings four classic Beatrix Potter animal tales to life — The Tale of Jeremy Fisher, The Tale of The Tailor of Gloucester, The Tale of Mrs. Tittlemouse, and The Tale of Peter Rabbit — through storytellers, toy theater surprises, and a one-man-band playing guitar, banjo, cello, and toy piano. After the show, families gather in the lobby for a communal holiday party featuring festive treats and interaction with the cast and puppets. The production is ideal for ages up to 8.
