Made in Chicago Night is part of the 13th Physical Theater Festival Chicago, an annual celebration of contemporary, movement-based performance at Theater Wit. The program features two medium-length works by Chicago artists: MATADORA, created and performed by INSÉKTA, a devised choreographic work tracing the transformation of suppressed Latiné rage into dignity and self-possession through movement, ritual and theatricality; and The New F-Word, by ensemble LegLand, an atmospheric exploration of fog, mystery and absurdity that builds on their 2025 Scratch Night performance. Both works grew out of the festival's Scratch Night series, which provides emerging Chicago artists a platform for short works in progress.
