Kimberly Akimbo follows the story of a teenager navigating the challenges of growing up while dealing with a rare genetic condition. Set in suburban New Jersey, Kimberly's journey is filled with family dysfunction and the complexities of adolescence, including first crushes and the threat of legal trouble. The musical features a Tony Award-winning book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire and a score by Jeanine Tesori, both of whom bring depth and humor to this poignant tale. Directed by Jessica Stone, the production promises heartfelt moments and laughter from start to finish.
