I Love You Because, with book and lyrics by Ryan Cunningham and music by Joshua Salzman, is a feel-good musical inspired by Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The story follows two opposites who find each other while navigating the chaos of modern dating, including awkward encounters and bad coffee dates. Directed by Scott Shallenbarger with music direction by Aaron Kahn, the production runs at Oil Lamp Theater in Glenview through September 13, 2026.
