Christopher Warren-Green will close out his tenure as Music Director by leading the Charlotte Symphony and the Charlotte Master Chorale in one of the greatest works of all time: Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Friday, May 20, 2022, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, May 22, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at the Belk Theater.
The Charlotte Symphony welcomes a talented and diverse array of guest conductors and artists in 2022–23, a season that celebrates the Symphony’s greatest strengths and reaffirms its core commitments: serving the community with increased access to live symphonic music and educational opportunity, and presenting world class performances of the greatest works, ranging from standards of the repertoire to music by today’s most talented composers.
The Charlotte Symphony will welcome audiences back to the Belk Theater for performances taking place on April 24 and May 14–15, 2021. This marks the first time audiences have been able to attend an indoor concert with the Charlotte Symphony since March 7, 2020. The CSO will also host a three-concert mini-series featuring classical works.
The Charlotte Symphony has announced details for a revised winter season featuring four new virtual concerts, streamed directly from the Knight and Belk Theaters. Highlights include an all-English program and Beethoven’s first and seventh symphonies, conducted by Music Director Christopher Warren-Green, plus much more.
