Part three of Neil Simon’s acclaimed autobiographical trilogy finds Eugene and his older brother Stanley trying to break into the world of show business as professional comedy writers while coping with their parents’ breakup and eventual divorce. When their material is broadcast on the radio for the first time, the family is upset to hear a thinly-veiled portrait of themselves played for laughs.

Cast and Creative Team for Broadway Bound at Little Theatre Of Mechanicsburg

Cast

Aiden Storm
Eugene Jerome
AIDEN STORM he/they (EUGENE) | Aiden is excited to be returning to Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg, he last appeared in their production of REEFER MADNESS (Ensemble). He has taken the stage elsewhere in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Avram), SIDESHOW (Three Legged Man), THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (Patrick Star), BATBOY THE MUSICAL (Sheriff), and THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG (Dennis). Aiden dedicates his performance to his ever loving partner who has been his rock for the past five years.
Stephanie Via
Kate Jerome
Steph is thrilled to return to the LTM stage in this wonderful show! Previous acting credits include Violet Oakley Unveiled (Violet Oakley, et al), Coriolanus (Aufidius), Much Ado About Nothing (Beatrice), The Scarlet Letter (Hester), Reefer Madness (Sally), Incorruptible (Marie), The Full Monty (Vicki), Taking Leave (Liz). Much love and appreciation to the cast and crew for welcoming her into their family so warmly, and to her friends, TH, family, and her rock DH for their unending support. Special thanks to Heather Janetta. Steph knows exactly how she lets Heather get her to do such things, and she loves her for it. Steph would like to dedicate her performance to mothers everywhere.
Charles Miller
Stanley Jerome
This is Charles Miller’s fifth show at LTM and he couldn't be happier to be back. He aspires to one day be a professional actor and writer for movies and television like the character he plays. Charles would also like to dedicate his performance as Stan to his beautiful and loving fiancée, Annie Hart. He hopes everyone will enjoy the show and can't wait  to hear the laughs.
Andy Isaacs
Ben Epstein
Andy Isaacs (Ben) has embraced his curmudgeon role. He sees the play as a family drama in comedic clothing, and it contains enough serious material to feed his cravings for dysfunction and tragedy. He is awed by his castmates’ talents and wonders whether his character’s declared age (close to his own) had anything to do with the role assignment. Recent shows here at LTM: Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Shakespeare in Hollywood, Leading Ladies, Murder on West Moon Street, and Frankenstein. Pre-Covid, you might have seen him in Black Comedy, Love From a Stranger, or Verdict here, or in Superior Donuts, Done to Death, or Funny Money at Oyster Mill Playhouse. Andy is a retired newspaper copy editor. When not studying lines he chips paint on a 130-year-old house in midtown Harrisburg and tries to keep his plants alive. He is an ardent traveler and collects foreign epithets.
Anthony Leukus
Jack Jerome
Anthony Leukus Tony has recently retired after teaching music for 33 years. His favorite roles are Lee in True West, Richard Nixon in Frost/Nixon, Ralph in Frozen, and Matt Friedman in Talley’s Folly at Open Stage. Ed Boone in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, and Pseudolus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum are some of his favorite performances at Theatre Harrisburg. He also enjoyed portraying Robert in The Play that Goes Wrong, Inspector Kemp in Young Frankenstein, and Man in Chair in The Drowsy Chaperone for Keystone Theatrics at Allenberry.
Kathryn Shoup
Blanche Morton
Kathryn “Kassie” Shoup returns to the LTM stage after a 23-year hiatus. She previously played Truvy in LTM’s production of Steel Magnolias. Born and raised in southern West Virginia, Kassie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dramatic Arts from West Virginia Wesleyan College. She landed in Pennsylvania right after college to work at Allenberry Playhouse in Boiling Springs as their Props Manager. She also played Scooter in their murder mystery weekend, The Fuddy Duddy Music Festival. She works for the Commonwealth of PA as an IT Generalist and enjoys running with the Harrisburg Beer Runners in her spare time. Kassie considers her 22 year-old daughter, Lucy, her best production ever. Huge shoutout to Kristen Borgersen, Lucy’s godmother, for encouraging her to get back onstage.
