DreamWrights Center for Community Arts presents Hadestown: Teen Edition, with music, lyrics, and book by Anaïs Mitchell.
Welcome to Hadestown, where a song can change your fate. This Tony Award–winning musical reimagines the ancient myth of Orpheus and Eurydice in a bold, blues-inspired world shaped by rhythm, resilience, and hope. In this Teen Edition, young performers take center stage, bringing fresh energy and heart to a story that reminds us—even in the darkest places—hope can rise.
Driven by powerful music and storytelling, Hadestown: Teen Edition offers an unforgettable theatrical experience that celebrates courage, connection, and the enduring power of belief.

A Note About This Production
Hadestown: Teen Edition will be performed at the Waldner Performing Arts Center (WPAC) — a beautiful 700-seat venue on the York College campus.

Parking and Directions
Enter the York College campus from the main entrance on Country Club Road. Follow the road to the right, then turn left around the rear of the Humanities building. Parking is available in the lots on your left — any non-reserved space is open to guests. From the lot, follow the path to the front of the Humanities building and enter through the Waldner PAC main entrance.
Ticket Pricing:
General Seating: $16 in advance
Reserved Seating: $20 in advance
$2 upcharge for tickets purchased at the door
The gallery and lobby open one hour before the performance.
Theatre doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain.
Refreshments are available before the show and during intermission.
Free off-street parking is available.
