DreamWrights Center for Community Arts presents Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl.
The ancient myth of Orpheus and Eurydice is reimagined through Eurydice’s eyes in this poetic, dreamlike exploration of love, memory, and loss. When Eurydice enters the Underworld, she must choose between the life she left behind and the strange new world she has discovered. Lyrical, intimate, and visually striking, Eurydice is a tender meditation on what it means to remember—and what it means to let go.
Performance Dates (5 Performances): April 24, 25, May 1 & 2 at 7:00 PM April 26 at 3:00 PM
Auditions: March 17 or 18 Ages 14–Adult
Studio Seating & Ticket Pricing: All Studio seating is General Admission. $18 in advance $2 upcharge for tickets purchased at the door
The gallery and lobby open one hour before the performance. Theatre doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain. Refreshments are available before the show and during intermission. Free off-street parking is available.
DreamWrights Center for Community Arts and Weary Arts Group will present HADESTOWN: Teen Edition at the Waldner Performing Arts Center at York College of Pennsylvania, featuring two full casts and more than 60 young performers.
Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl will be presented at DreamWrights Center for Community Arts in Pennsylvania. Directed by Anja Homberger, the production reexamines the Orpheus myth through Eurydice’s perspective.
