Mother Goosed and the New Fable Festival at DreamWrights Center for Community Arts

A fall Main Stage double feature pairing Mother Goosed, a comedy by Jason Pizzarello, with four original short fables from the New Fable Festival. Mother Goosed follows a news crew trying to cover a crisis in Fairytale Land, where nursery rhyme characters have stopped playing along with their own stories, from Humpty Dumpty to Miss Muffet to Peter Piper. The New Fable Festival features four original fables, three chosen by community vote and one written by DreamWrights' summer campers, including Bee Out of the Box, When the Bell Rings, The Three Little Pigs and the Bid Bag Wolf, and The Stolen Jewels of the Capybara Kingdom. Mother Goosed is double cast, with two full casts of children and adults alternating performances throughout the run.
