The Magi at Capital Repertory Theatre

Dates: 11/27/2026 - 12/24/2026

📍 Theatre:
Capital Repertory Theatre

251 N Pearl St.
Albany, NY 12207

A reimagining of O. Henry’s timeless holiday classic “The Gift of the Magi.”

In this soulful theatrical concert, audiences follow Nix and Jude, a folk-rock duo who have spent nearly a decade together and fell in love in the maddeningly tight quarters of their tour bus. As the holiday season approaches, the couple and their band face a breaking point. Blending original music, heartfelt storytelling, and tender humor, “The Magi” explores the sacrifices we make for love and the imperfect but profound ways we show devotion to those we cherish. Equal parts concert experience and quirky love story, this production wraps up the spirit of giving in a delightfully original package.
