David Ostwald’s Louis Armstrong Eternity Band brings the vibrant spirit of classic jazz to Birdland Theater. Celebrating the legacy of jazz pioneers like Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, and Duke Ellington, the ensemble, led by tuba player David Ostwald, features a rotating lineup of accomplished musicians, including clarinetist Anat Cohen and trombonist Wycliffe Gordon. This weekly engagement, now in its 18th year at Birdland, offers a dynamic experience filled with passion and musical excellence.
