New York City-based jazz vocalist Karen Mack made her return to the main stage at Birdland Jazz Club on Monday, May 4 with an evening of jazz that blends inventive arrangements, standout originals, and plenty of musical play. Check out the photos below!
The new set blended contemporary jazz repertoire, reimagined standards, and original music by leading female songwriters in today's jazz scene, including Val Hawk, Rosana Eckert, and Grammy Award winner Nicole Zuraitis.
She was be joined by Andy Ezrin on piano, Pete McCann on guitar, Matt Aronoff on bass, Mark McLean on drums, and Dave Mann on saxophone, with special guest vocalist/pianist Elliot Roth.
