Karen Mason celebrates the release of her 10th album with a special performance at Birdland. Recorded live during a sold-out Birdland performance on her birthday, the album captures the vocalist in an evening of music, stories and celebration. The show features songs spanning the decades of Mason's life and career, including Something's Coming, But the World Goes 'Round, Hurry! It's Lovely Up Here and South of the Coconut Line. The evening is directed by Barry Kleinbort, with Christopher Denny as music director and pianist, Tom Hubbard on bass and Rocky Noel on lights.
