"Welcome to Monster High," featuring a new look at your favorite characters, will also include an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the partnership between MONSTER HIGH and Lady Gaga's BORN THIS WAY Foundation, and a chance to boogie down with the "ghouls" with a special DanceOn routine.

The monsters live in hiding, even from each other, out of fear of being found out by humans. However, Draculaura, the daughter of Dracula, along with her best ghoulfriend, Frankie Stein, the daughter of Dr. Frankenstein's Monster, dreamt of a school where everyone was welcome and accepted for who they are. Determined to make their dream come true, the ghouls travel the world on an epic adventure to recruit new students. The origin story of MONSTER HIGH reveals how all monsters in hiding came together to form a place where they belong and their uniqueness can be celebrated.

"Mattel has created a fun story with powerful messages of tolerance and acceptance, which is so critical in today's society," Fathom Events Vice President of Programming Kymberli Frueh said. "It will be a great experience for kids to see this event on the big screen and participate in the monster dance class with their friends!"

"We are thrilled to partner with Fathom Events to bring the origin story of MONSTER HIGH to the big screen for fans all over the country," said Andrea Carpenter, Senior Director of Global Content Distribution, Programming & Marketing, Mattel. "We know families will enjoy this MONSTER HIGH movie celebrating inclusivity and acceptance."
