Video: HOUSE OF THE DRAGON Drops Season 3 Final Trailer
The series will return with its eight-episode third season on June 21.
The official trailer has arrived for season three of HBO's House of the Dragon. The series is based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood and tells the story of House Targaryen 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. It will return with its eight-episode third season on June 21.
In the trailer, Matt Smith and Emma D'Arcy are back as the Targaryens, with footage of Daemon embarking in battle. Also featured are new looks at Olivia Cooke's Alicent Hightower and Steve Toussaint's Corlys Velaryon amid brutal fight sequences, fire, and dragons.

The trailer arrives following the full cast announcement for the upcoming GAME OF THRONES play, coming to The Royal Shakespeare this summer. Titled Game of Thrones: The Mad King, the play takes place a decade before the events of the original series. Duncan MacMillan has penned the script, with Dominic Cooke set as the director.
