VAMPIRE DIARIES Star Michael Trevino Cast In Upcoming CW Reboot ROSWELL

According to Deadline, VAMPIRES DIARIES star Michael Trevino has been cast in the upcoming reboot of the classic cult sci-fi pilot ROSWELL. The new CW pilot is also set to star Nathan Parsons, Jeanine Mason, Heather Hemmens, Michael Vlamis, Tyler Blackburn and Nathan Parsons. Read more about it from Deadline here!

The reboot will be directed by VAMPIRE DIARIES creator Julie Plec, and written by Carina MacKenzie. The upcoming pilot comes from those two, in addition to Bender Brown Prods, Warner Bros TV and Amblin TV. The series is based on the book ROSWELL HIGH by Melinda Metz.

Michael Trevino starred as Tyler Lockwood for eight seasons of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. The actor is also known for his roles on THE ORIGINALS, 90210, COW BELLES and THE RICHES.

The CW Television Network features the hit series Riverdale, as well as Black Lightning, Life Sentence, The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Supernatural, Jane The Virgin, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, The Originals, The 100, iZombie, Dynasty, and Valor.
