Spike TV is franchising its successful "Tattoo Nightmares" series to Miami, where three new tattoo artists are set to tackle the most difficult clients and tattoos America has to offer. The network has ordered 10 half-hour episodes of "Tattoo Nightmares Miami" from series producer 495 Productions. "Tattoo Nightmares Miami" is slated to go into production this Spring and join the network's highly-rated Tuesday night tattoo-themed programming block this Fall.

In addition to the jaw-dropping cover-ups that "Tattoo Nightmares" is already well-known for, this new series will have the added twist of taking on some of the craziest requests for original tattoos. Whether it is tattooing someone's head, palms of their hands or a major surgery scar, these tattoos are so difficult that the client's only hope to make them a reality are the artists at Tattoo Nightmares: Miami.

"Tattoo Nightmares Miami" brings together three new artists with diverse backgrounds. The three started this new shop to service the growing needs of extreme clients where the more bizarre the tattoo and story behind them, the better. The shop's artists are Clint Cummings, a former contestant on "Ink Master" season 2; local artist Samuel Suarez, better known to his clients as High Noon and female fine artist and tattooist, Reese Hilburn from Southern California. Together, these three artists will turn tattoo disaster pieces into masterpieces and translate difficult tattoos into stunning works of art.

"Tattoo Nightmares" is among the new crop of SPIKE original series that deliver a gender-balanced audience. The current season is averaging 1.1 million viewers has improved the time period by +147% in Adults 18-49 and 82% in average audience.
