Shari Levine Named BRAVO's EVP of Current Production

Bravo Media announces the promotion of Shari Levine to Executive Vice President of Current Production, Bravo. The announcement was made today by Jerry Leo, Executive Vice President, Program Strategy, Bravo and Oxygen Media, and Production Bravo Media, to whom she continues to report. Previously, Senior Vice President of Current Production, Shari will continue to oversee the network's expanding slate of original programming and commitment to breakthrough television that pushes the creative limits with innovative and compelling storytelling.
"Shari is one of the creative visionaries behind many of Bravo's hit series," said Leo. "Our shows have a 'Bravo sheen' which is due to Shari's passion and dedication in making high quality original programming." Under her leadership at Bravo, Shari has successfully expanded many of the network's popular franchises such as "The Real Housewives," which delivered a record breaking season six with "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" garnering over 4.6 million viewers as well as the "Million Dollar Listing" franchise, which recently earned an Emmy nomination for "Million Dollar Listing New York." Additionally, she has helped launch several hit series including "Below Deck," "Don't Be Tardy," "Married to Medicine," "Shah's of Sunset," "Newlyweds The First Year," "Blood, Sweat & Heels," "Southern Charm," and "Vanderpump Rules." During her time at Bravo, the network has increased its programming slate to reach over 550 hours of originals and become a Top #10 ad supported cable entertainment network. Bravo delivered its eighth consecutive best year ever in 2013 in prime, growing among all key demos from 2012. The network had 28 original series that had one or more telecasts deliver over one million total viewers in 2013, more than any year before. Levine's programming achievements continue as Bravo recently earned its most watched second quarter ever among total viewers in prime.Recent Articles
