Video: Olyphant & Taylor-Joy Talk Dreams in LUCKY Scene
A pair of con artists compare notes on the visions that keep pulling them back.
Apple TV posted a full scene from LUCKY in which Anya Taylor-Joy and Timothy Olyphant share their characters' recurring dreams, a quieter beat inside the crime-drama's high-stakes world of cons and pursuit. The clip centers the two actors in conversation, giving viewers a glimpse of how the show balances its thriller mechanics with more intimate character work.
LUCKY is based on the best-selling book and was created by Jonathan Tropper and Reese Witherspoon for Apple TV. Taylor-Joy plays the title character, a con artist named Lucky who goes on the run after a multi-million-dollar heist collapses, finding herself pursued by both the FBI and a ruthless crime boss. The series also stars Drew Starkey, Timothy Olyphant, Annette Bening, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, William Fichtner, Eric Lange and Clifton Collins Jr.
The series is described as a crime-thriller drama, drawing comparisons to shows like The Flight Attendant, Dead to Me, Russian Doll, Killing Eve, Inventing Anna, Black Doves and Lioness. The dream-sharing scene offers a window into the bond between Taylor-Joy and Olyphant's characters, hinting at the kind of psychological undercurrent that runs beneath the show's heist-and-chase plotting.
LUCKY is now streaming on Apple TV, available through the Apple TV app across a wide range of devices, including smart TVs, gaming consoles and streaming boxes.
