Jason Sudeikis Explains Why TED LASSO Resonates in Season 4

Jason Sudeikis sat down with TODAY to explain why his title character in TED LASSO continues to strike a chord with viewers as the Apple TV+ series returns for its fourth season.
Sudeikis has been closely tied to TED LASSO since its inception, both as its star and as an executive producer on the series. In a separate TODAY appearance, Sudeikis explained that this time around Ted is invited back to lead A.F.C. Richmond's new women's football league rather than the men's side he previously guided.
In another TODAY appearance alongside co-star and fellow creator Brendan Hunt, Sudeikis and Hunt also discussed their real-life friendship, with Sudeikis revealing he recently officiated Hunt's wedding. Hunt joked about the arrangement, telling TODAY, "He lobbied pretty hard for it."
