Jared DiPalma Tapped for CFO of NBCUniversal's Entertainment & Digital Networks

Jared DiPalma has been promoted to the newly created position of Chief Financial Officer for NBCUniversal Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media (E&DN/IM). In his new role, DiPalma will oversee all financial operations for the portfolio which includes Bravo Media, Oxygen Media, Style, Sprout, Telemundo Media, mun2, and TV One, as well as the native digital properties DailyCandy and Fandango. He reports directly to Lauren Zalaznick, Chairman of the division.

"Jared has become an invaluable member of our team, ensuring this division consistently meets its budget goals and identifying key opportunities for growth," said Zalaznick. "His financial expertise, strategic sensibility and high level understanding of this rapidly changing media marketplace, make him ideally suited for this role. I am looking forward to working more closely with him."

Most recently, DiPalma served as the Senior Vice President of Finance for E&DN/IM, a role he held since June of 2011.

DiPalma joined NBCUniversal in 2008 as Vice President, Finance for the Company's national ad sales organization, where he was responsible for the financial planning and strategic communication of NBCUniversal's ad sale revenue. Among many operational and commercial initiatives, DiPalma led the integration of the Comcast and NBCUniversal cable entertainment sales organizations.

Prior to joining NBCUniversal, he was a four year member of General Electric's prestigious Corporate Audit Staff, and was responsible for global audits & financial initiatives across GE's various businesses. He began his career in 2002 as part of the GE Capital Financial Management Program.

DiPalma is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, where he received a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and minor in studio arts. He currently lives in New York City with his wife and daughter.

NBCUniversal's Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media division is comprised of some of the industry's leading television and digital brands, which include Telemundo Media, Bravo Media, mun2, Oxygen Media, Sprout, Style, TV One, DailyCandy and Fandango, and Television Without Pity.
