Nickelodeon's 27th Annual Kids' Choice Awards will be held on March 29, 2014, at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California. Actor Mark Wahlberg will host the ceremony. The "Orange Carpet" will be set up in front of Galen Center on the sidewalks of Jefferson Boulevard.
The show broadcasts on the Nickelodeon Network from from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, tape delayed for West Coast in the United States and Canada. Kids in six continents will be able to vote for their favorite winners, who get to take home an orange blimp trophy, at 17 localized voting sites. The "Kids' Choice Awards Orange Carpet pre-show" will be webcasted prior to the presentation of the awards.
This year, the Kids' Choice Awards has added several new categories: favorite app, favorite villain, favorite funny star, favorite animated animal sidekick and most enthusiastic athlete.
Voting in the 22 categories begins Feb. 24 across all Nickelodeon digital platforms, including the Nick.com website and the official Nickelodeon Twitter page, where users can vote by using custom Kids' Choice Awards hashtags.
