Hanzel La H, Kris R Release New Single LA PERLITA
The track follows the artists' earlier collaboration on VVS1 from Kris R's EL TRAP DE KOLOMBIA album.
Hanzel La H has released 'La Perlita,' his new collaboration with Kris R, available beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET. The single takes the street-driven essence that characterizes both artists into a more melodic, romantic and sensual space, over a production that combines the weight of trap with fluid melodies and a catchy chorus.
With 'La Perlita,' Hanzel La H continues to explore new dimensions within the sound that has shaped his work from the beginning. Without moving away from trap or the direct style that has connected him with his audience, the artist reveals a more sentimental side that expands his musical universe.
At the center of 'La Perlita' is a relationship that begins without promises or expectations and, through flirting, desire and attraction, develops into a stronger bond. The song preserves both artists' identities while allowing feelings to emerge almost unexpectedly, taking the story into a more intimate space.
The release also strengthens the bridge between the urban scenes of Puerto Rico and Colombia. Hanzel La H and Kris R previously joined forces this year on 'VVS1,' alongside Neutro Shorty and Noriel, as part of Kris R's album EL TRAP DE KOLOMBIA. This time, they shift the tone of that collaboration toward a more personal approach, keeping trap as the meeting point between two scenes that continue to shape Latin urban music.
The official video complements the song's sensuality with a nighttime aesthetic defined by luxury, desire and the party lifestyle. The cover artwork takes the concept in a more direct direction: a glowing pink shell with a white pearl at its center, referencing the single's title.
'La Perlita' adds to an intensely active year for Hanzel La H. In February, he released OCHÖ, an eight-track album featuring collaborations with artists including Bryant Myers, Tito El Bambino, Ñengo Flow, Hades66 and Pacho El Antifeka. He later expanded that chapter with 'Loyalty 4 Ever Remix,' alongside Hades66, Arcángel, Luar La L, Kendo Kaponi and Ñengo Flow, as well as recent appearances on 'Dili' with Juanka and 'Q.E.P.D.' with Christian Ponce, Farruko and Fronti.
