Fred Armisen and Poorna Jagannathan Hit the Couch in New DELI BOYS Season 2 Clip
Robin Thede guest stars as the duo's new therapist in the Hulu series' second season.
Hulu has released a new clip from DELI BOYS Season 2 in which casino magnate Max Sugar, played by Fred Armisen, and Lucky, played by Poorna Jagannathan, sit down together for what appears to be their first session with a new therapist, portrayed by Robin Thede. The scene mines the inherent awkwardness of two adversaries — or perhaps reluctant allies — being forced into the same therapeutic space, and it offers a sharp comedic showcase for both performers.
DELI BOYS is a Hulu original comedy series centered on two South Asian American brothers who inherit their father's convenience store empire only to discover the business has deep criminal entanglements. Season 2 expands the ensemble considerably, bringing in Broadway veterans Andrew Rannells and Kumail Nanjiani as recurring guest stars alongside series regulars Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, Jagannathan, and Armisen.
All six episodes of DELI BOYS Season 2 are currently streaming on Hulu and with Hulu on Disney+. The season premiered on May 28, 2026, and has already generated considerable buzz, including a memorable promotional moment in which stars Asif Ali and Saagar Shaikh made cameo appearances in the Broadway production of ALADDIN ahead of the launch.
BroadwayWorld previously covered the season's official trailer as well as an early sneak peek clip featuring Jagannathan's Lucky delivering a business update to the brothers following a tense encounter with Armisen's Max Sugar.
