Millennial digital news brand NowThis and social justice organizations We Are Here and #LoveArmy have partnered to produce "We Are Here" - an hour-long program to advocate for citizen use of the core freedoms protected under the First Amendment. The star-studded special will air during NowThis' full-day live stream coverage of the Inauguration, immediately after President-Elect Trump is sworn in (at 1pm ET), exclusively on NowThis' channels.

With Alicia Keys and Van Jones (Founders of We Are Here and #LoveArmy, respectively), the event will be a digital quilt of important voices from across America -- combining elected officials, celebrities and citizens -- to empower and inspire young people to speak up, stand up and fight for the issues they believe in. "No matter who we are, we have the right to express how we feel and proclaim our ALLEGIANCE to freedom and democracy. I'm grateful to all the unique and important voices that have come together to tell our collective stories. It's a necessary rallying cry!" said Alicia Keys.

"We are calling for a massive reawakening in this country. Democracy is not a spectator sport. We want all of the millions of good people out there to speak up and act powerfully. We all need to be in the arena" said Van Jones.

"This project is meant to be part inspiration and part call to action. We're proud to be partnering with Alicia and Van, and their respective organizations to deliver that message to our young, engaged audience," said Tina Exarhos, Chief Content Officer for NowThis. "This is a celebration of the core freedoms of the First Amendment and a reminder that everyone's voice and action is needed to protect those freedoms."
