City Winery Chicago, 1200 W. Randolph Street, announces a five-night residency with psychobilly rock 'n rollers Reverend Horton Heat, the return of award-winning Serbian blues guitarist Ana Popovic, blues and swing revival band Roomful of Blues present their 50th anniversary tour plus a performance from John Popper of the Grammy Award Winning Blues Traveler. L.A. based, guitar player and singer Ana Popovic is back on the road promoting her latest album Trilogy, released May 2016. With Trilogy, Popovic released three albums in one, featuring twenty-three funk, rock/blues and jazz tunes. Popovic was born in Belgrade, Serbia and has shared headlining stages with B.B. King, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr. and many others. She's been nominated for six Blues Music Awards including 'Best New Artist Debut', 'Contemporary Blues Female Artist' and 'Contemporary Blues Album' of the year. Her albums Can You Stand the Heat (2013) and Unconditional (2011) were featured in Billboard's top five bestselling blues albums in the U.S.

For nearly half a century, Roomful of Blues has delivered its signature blend of swing, rock 'n' roll, jump, blues and R&B to euphoric audiences all over the world. Though the group's lineup has changed over the years, the band has remained one of the tightest, most joyful blues ensembles in the world. Their winning combination of jump, swing, blues, R&B and soul remains their calling card, as does their ability to fill the dance floor. Harmonica virtuoso John Popper is a founding member of the Grammy Award Winning rock band Blues Traveler known for their 90's hit "Run-Around". Blues Traveler's most recent album, Blow up the Moon, was released in April 2015 and featured performances from guest artists including Thompson Square, Plain White T's, 3OH!3, Hanson, Jewel, Secondhand Serenade, Dirty Heads & Rome Ramirez (Sublime), JC Chasez (NSYNC), Bowling for Soup, New Hollow and Thomas Ian Nicholas. In his appearance at City Winery, Popper shares music and stories from the group's 30+ years together.

City Winery Chicago is pleased to announce a five-night residency of legendary psychobilly rockers the Reverend Horton Heat. Formed in 1985 in Dallas, Texas, the rock trio is known for their unique reinterpretations of American country-blues-rock mixing elements of surf, country, punk, big band and rockabilly. Led by frontman Jim Heath, a Reverend Horton Heat performance is a transformative rock 'n roll experience like no other. Heath becomes channels Screamin' Jay Hawkins through Buddy Holly while Jimbo Wallace incinerates the stand-up bass. Heath and Wallace have been touring for twenty-five years. Most recently, Reverend Horton Heat released a limited edition 7-inch vinyl single for 2016's Record Store Day, including the track "Hardscrabble Woman," and the previously unreleased "Lying To Myself."

Each performance will also feature special guest Clownvis Presley. Additional guest artists throughout the residency include: Unknown Hinson (Oct. 11-13); Robert Gordon (Oct. 14-15); Koffin Kats (Oct. 11); Flatfoot 56 (Oct. 12); The Creepshow (Oct. 13); The Delta Bombers (Oct. 14) and Flat Duo Jets (Oct. 15).

City Winery also announces Chicago Farmer opens for Donna the Buffalo May 19, Brian Collins opens for FrEddy Jones Band July 6, and on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4, a special VIP Meet & Greet experience with The Church is available for $75 (concert ticket not included). This package includes early entry into the venue, exclusive preshow meet & greet with The Church, personal photograph with The Church, VIP access to The Church's preshow soundcheck, a collectible tour poster autographed by The Church, a specially designed The Church tote bag and an official meet & greet laminate. Availability is limited.

All City Winery events are open to all ages and start at 8 p.m., unless noted.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, May 4 at noon. Opened in 2012, City Winery Chicago is a fully operational winery, restaurant with outdoor patio, concert hall and private event space located in the heart of the West Loop at 1200 W. Randolph, in the historic urban Fulton Market district. Once a refrigerated food distribution warehouse, the 1911 building has been transformed into a contemporary 33,000 square foot haven for those passionate about wine, music and culinary arts. The décor evokes the romance of being in wine country, from the exposed stainless steel fermenting tanks and French oak barrels, to the aroma of fermenting grapes. Chicago's only fully operation winery has produced dozens of in-house wines sourced from vineyards in California, Oregon, Washington, Argentina and Chile, including a Wine Enthusiast 90-point 2012 Bien Nacido Vineyard Reserve pinot noir.
