Phoenix Headlines Hollywood Bowl, 9/18

French band Phoenix make their Hollywood Bowl debut on September 18, 2010, headlining the iconic venue in support of their acclaimed release Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, which topped almost every critic's top-10 list for 2009, and won a Grammy award for Best Alternative Music Album.

Brooklyn-based band Grizzly Bear, also making their venue debut, have gone from local buzz to national acclaim following the chart success of their latest album Veckatimeist. Girls makes their Hollywood Bowl debut as well, touring in support of their debut release, Album.

The Bowl is a friendly sociable place where Southern Californians gather to picnic and enjoy outstanding music under the stars. Throughout the summer the LA Phil presents the best in jazz, classical, Broadway, and world music, featuring artists that range from Sarah Chang to Diana Krall, John Williams to Pet Shop Boys, and Nancy Wilson to Arcade Fire.
