MADE IN BRASIL - SOLO WORKS at Highways Performance Space

MADE IN BRASIL: Solo Works is a bold, genre-defying theatrical event presented at Highways Performance Space as part of its BEHOLD! series. This two-night festival spotlights a new wave of Brazilian artists based in Los Angeles, bringing together solo performances that blur the boundaries between theatre, performance art, music, and multimedia storytelling.  

Featuring original works by Leopold Nunan, Bruna Fachetti, Bia Borin, and Renato Fimene, and hosted by multidisciplinary artist Andrea Ferraz, the program offers a dynamic exploration of identity, migration, memory, and transformation. Each piece stands as a deeply personal yet universally resonant statement—ranging from techno-myth narratives and reimagined cultural icons to intimate reflections on belonging and reinvention.  

Directed under the artistic vision of Bia Oliveira, Made in Brasil: Solo Works is not a conventional showcase but a living, breathing cultural declaration—an urgent and vibrant platform where Brazilian voices claim space on the Los Angeles stage with humor, vulnerability, and unapologetic presence.
