Fourteen-time Grammy Award-winning artist Alicia Keys has partnered with Prizeo, the new celebrity charity-fundraising digital platform, to raise money and awareness for Keep a Child Alive (KCA). Keys co-founded KCA and is Global Ambassador to the non-profit dedicated to providing life-saving HIV treatment, care and loving support to children and families affected by HIV in Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Uganda and India.

For micro-donations starting at only $3, fans can enter to win a trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for a VIP experience with Keys: One lucky grand-prize winner and a guest will get to meet her and see her perform live at the city's famous Rock In Rio festival this September.

The campaign is currently live at Prizeo.com/Alicia and will run through July 15, 2013. The grand-prize winner will be chosen at random and notified shortly afterward.

Prizeo democratizes fundraising by transforming the celebrity auction model - once limited to a select group of privileged bidders - into an instantly accessible digital campaign that's open to everyone. The Prizeo platform also enables stars to maximize the benefits their social influence can deliver on behalf of charities.

"I'm very passionate about the work we do at Keep a Child Alive," says Keys. "Partnering with Prizeo really allows us to share the incredible mission of KCA with a wider audience, and also gives me a whole new way to connect with my fans at the same time. My hope is that we inspire people all over the world to come together and bring about change in a huge way."

Says Peter Twyman, CEO of KCA: "Keep a Child Alive pushes the bar on innovation, whether we're tackling important issues on the ground or engaging our supporters in new ways. Prizeo provides us with an excellent opportunity to be innovative in the fundraising space. It is so exciting that Alicia, our co-founder and Global Ambassador, has partnered with Prizeo, and we are so thankful for her support."

"Prizeo is thrilled to partner with Alicia because we truly believe that this platform will add a whole new dimension to her tireless support of Keep a Child Alive," says co-founder Leo Seigal. "Prizeo is a uniquely social platform with tools that will enable Alicia to connect directly with her fans in a meaningful way - to engage directly with the whole Alicia Keys community - and to encourage her fans to engage with their communities. This 'social multiplier effect' will likely make for a truly historical fundraising experience."

In addition to the grand-prize trip to Rio, Keys, KCA and Prizeo will reward certain donors with a range of exclusive rewards. Those who contribute $50 or more will get an exclusive campaign t-shirt; meanwhile, donors of $100 or more will receive an autographed Keys photo, and $200 or more will receive a signed Keys songbook. Plus, the top "sharer" - the donor who gets the most friends to contribute by using a personal link shared via Facebook and Twitter - will receive the new Blackberry 10 phone, while three runners-up will receive signed pairs of sneakers from Key's Reebok line..
