Boston Baroque's New Year's concerts have become a cherished tradition. In 2012, WGBH Classical New England in Boston broadcast Boston Baroque's First Day concert, starting a tradition of its own. Next week, that tradition expands nationwide, as the ensemble's January 1 broadcast will be made available via the PRI Network, in addition to being streamed live by WGBH.

The concert of Tuesday, January 1, 2013, will be broadcast live from Sanders Theatre in Harvard Square, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Concertos by Corelli, Marcello and Telemann will be followed by a performance of Pergolesi's one-act comic opera, La serva padrona (The Maid Mistress). Full details of the program can be found HERE.

The broadcast, hosted by WGBH Classical New England's Cathy Fuller, can be heard in real time HERE and will be available for streaming after the broadcast.
