Phantom Limb Company Returns To BAM With FALLING OUT
by BWW News Desk - September 26, 2018
Falling Out is a richly imagined, genre-defying performance piece that explores the psychic dimension of environmental catastrophe. Developed in collaboration with butoh master Dai Matsuoka of Sankai Juku, Falling Out also serves as the final installment in Phantom Limb's environmental trilogy. BAM previously presented Memory Rings (2016 NWF) and 69° S. (a collaboration with Kronos Quartet, 2011 NWF). Taken together, these works demonstrate the company's longstanding commitment to the principled intersection of art and environmental awareness.
