English folk duo The Black Feathers, made up of Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler, return to The Allen Center in Newton on June 6 as part of their U.S. tour, following a well-received appearance there in 2024. The pair became musical and life partners in 2012, blending Americana, folk, and acoustic indie rock, with Hughes' guitar work supporting the kind of harmonies often associated with family bands. This performance is part of the Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts, supported by Spark Newton in partnership with The City of Newton.
