THE BLACK FEATHERS Return to Newton's Allen Center for U.S. Tour Stop
UK folk duo set for June concert as part of Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts.
The Black Feathers will return to the The Allen Center on Saturday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is part of the Linda Plaut Festival of the Arts and follows the duo’s previous appearance at the venue in 2024.
The Black Feathers, comprised of Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler, formed in 2012 after collaborating on multiple musical projects. Their work combines elements of Americana, folk, and acoustic indie rock, with an emphasis on vocal harmony and guitar-driven arrangements.
The duo has been noted for their live performances, with commentary highlighting the interplay between their musical styles and stage presence. Their performances focus on both recorded material and live interpretation, with an emphasis on vocal blend and audience connection.
The program is supported by Spark Newton in partnership with the City of Newton.
