The Hombres is a regional premiere that explores the complexities of male friendships and machismo through the lens of three Latino construction workers drawn into the unexpected world of a nearby yoga studio. Set against a construction site backdrop, this comedic journey of self-discovery challenges traditional notions of masculinity while fostering unlikely friendships. Directed by Armando Rivera, the production features notable performances from Luis Negrón, Patrick O'Konis, Ricardo "Ricky" Holguin, Arthur Gomez, and Jaime José "JJ" Hernández. This collaboration between Gloucester Stage Company and Teatro Chelsea celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month, running from September 6 through September 29, 2024.
