SpeakEasy Stage Company presents the Boston premiere of PRIMARY TRUST, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Eboni Booth, running from September 12 to October 11, 2025. The story follows Kenneth, a bookstore clerk whose life takes an unexpected turn after he loses his job, leading him to forge new friendships and discover courage he never knew he had. Directed by Dawn M. Simmons in her first production as SpeakEasy’s Artistic Director, the play features Boston actors David J. Castillo, Arthur Gomez, Janelle Grace, and Luis Negrón. The performance runs for 100 minutes with no intermission at the Calderwood Pavilion.
