Sadly we won't be able to hear the BBC Radio 2 concert on the 12/26 but a Disney magazine seems to have been given exclusive access to the rehearsals and the show itself.

They also had three great pieces about The Lion King, High School Musical on Stage and Stephen Schwartz in their current issue.

Did anyone listen to the concert on the BBC iPlayer yesterday? I still can't seem to get it to work!

Wasn't there word that they were going to tour a few cities with this concert?

Great lineup !! Seeing Adam and Heather together again is always great !!

Sadly not - it was a one-night-only gig in London. I'm sure they will contemplate a similar show in NYC at some point - but this was to celebrate TLK's tenth anniversary in London (although I think that is actually in '09).

I was surprised to hear that they couldn't get Josh Strickland to appear. I would have thought he would have been happy for the attention. re: Celebrate the Music of Disney: Josh Groban, Butler, Pascal & more!

It also made me realize that Kerry Butler should have been Ariel - she was amazing.

There are moments when Kerry Butler sounds incredible, but then there are some moments during this when it sounds really pushed and nasally. But i still love her. I do not like Adam Pascal as Triton.

I agree. Sometimes she sounds so so pretty and other times...not so much.

That is pretty much how I feel about Kerry Butler all the time.

I really wish Adam Pascal would stick to singing this type of music. I think he sounds incredible here.

People really think Kerry sounds great? She's all over the place in "If Only". Listen to "But time keeps racing forward and our moment's almost passed". Messy.

In other news, Drew is AMAZING, and his "Out There" is fantastic. Why is Hunchback not on Broadway yet?

I totally agree with trianaaron. I think Adam Pascal sounds great on this - this is the perfect type of music for him! I also thought Drew was wonderful.

I absolutely loved Pascal and Headley's "Can You Feel The Love Tonight." Absolutely beautiful.

I'm not a Butler fan, but that was a great "Part of YOur World". I'm sure it helped that I've been hearing Sierra Bogus sleep her way through it throughout the last year.

I particularly loved Adam Pascal's "Strangers Like Me" but that could also be becuase I really liked the songs from Tarzan. I was afraid they weren't going to have Josh Groban sing. He sounded like a great host but that would have been such a waste!

You don't think they will be really really nice and put this on a cd for us do you? Or even just itunes?

It really said US Navy, but hey, I worked with what they gave me ok.

I hope they release a DVD or CD recording. Kerry Butler is an amazing performer and I know she was good in the workshop but I agree, she struggled in "Part Of Your World" and portions of "If Only". I noticed they lowered the key for Josh's "When You Wish Upon A Star" but was beautiful. Drew wasn't bad at all in "Out There". Yes, Adam was pretty good in "A Whole New World" and the other Disney songs. Imagine that, a rock singer can sing those songs. Overall, an excellent production.

PS. TimeSquare3, you're awesome! Thanks for the link.
