I just booked mine on a Visa -- at around 03:00 (EST or EDT, whichever this is now)
When I came thru the Telecharge screens it told me they were still on sale only to American Express, but when I got to the end it took my Visa and gave me a Confirmation Number
I'd say NOW :~)
Good luck

I'm waiting until the premiums are released for full price.
Any seat beyond three seats off the aisle in the side Orchestra is partial view in that house.

No, all those seats are still unsold. During the pre-sale they were selling all the same seats. They just haven't been released. The premium seats used to be in row N and now they're in row L so it seems as if they're selling the worst seats first. Updated On: 4/26/08 at 09:20 AM

There are some front row mezz tickets available...but when do the good seats go on sale? I'm debating on whether to buy seats now, knowing that they could sell quickly, or wait a bit...I just want decent seats...I don't need to sit super close.
Mrs R originally wanted to see it & tried for tickets. Those being offered were not that great.
This reminds me of the I Phone hyteria. Everyone just had to have one. Same thing here. The producers are counting on those who simply must have bragging rights & who will take anything offered.
Mrs R says so you see Harry Potters Magic Wand. Big deal. She looked at mine & said OK just as good. Magic to do. Will try for Bway Box tickets for ITH instead.
Seat selection is awful... Even the premium seats are row 10. When the Amex presale started, there were only 4 seats in the 2nd or 4th row in the center orchestra that appeared at the premium. After those were sold, it jumped to row H. What gives?

Even the selection on the ticket broker sites, like Stubhub, aren't that great. So they're definitely not the cause, good seats just haven't been released.
So which sections AREN'T obstructed/partial view? Eqqus is going to the Broadhurst, right? If memory serves, there didn't seem to be this much obstructed/partial view last time I was there...
The seats that they have a avaliable in the orchestra are on the extreme sides of either the right or left orchestra. I'm sure further back they aren't as bad but from like the first row till at least row E, you are really at an angle. I know that these seats were sold at a discount during Les Miserables' run. I'm assuming Equus won't have a set design that takes up so much of the proscenium, however I sat in that area and the sound isn't as strong and the view is just really bad.
