I just finished a trip to the West End and saw 8 shows. Eating in theatres in London has become a big problem, and this woman who runs Nimax seems to think it’s a non-issue. Personally, I think if you can’t go three hours without eating, you can spare everyone the frustration and go literally anywhere else. Eating happens in New York theatres, but people are much more considerably quiet, an

I see everything on Broadway and a lot in the West End. I missed this at New World and I wasn’t crazy about the album, but wow is this production incredible. It is the overall most talented cast I’ve ever seen in a West End show and is leagues better than Everybody’s Talking about Jamie, which everyone raves about in London. I am now a huge fan of the main star, Carrie Fletcher. She’s got Idina Menzel league acting-singing chops. I plan to go again in November and I rarely will see a West End s
Because everything everyone is saying is not true. For the last decade, Broadway shows have allowed cameras of curtain call. The only theatres to enforce not taking pictures are Signature and New World. Producers have encouraged the taking of pics for awhile now. They consider it free advertisement.

I went to the Marquis. They did not dim any lights. They had Jan's picture up on the Marquis LCD screen with "In loving memory of Jan Maxwell 1956-2018" from 8-8:01. There were about 60 people there, some who seemed very close to Jan and were very emotional. If you search her name as a hashtag on instagram, you can see it.
The one five days ago was more than likely considered a tech rehearsal, which was the exact same thing, but they would have been more likely to stop in the case of anything that needed fixing as opposed to during the dress, where they would only stop the show if completely necessary.
It's a definite skip it. Honestly, I cant contemplate how people are getting paid by a non-profit to allow such crap to be produced at all, never mind with an Oscar winner in NYC.
Why is Megan McGinnis not as big as the rest of the cast? She wasn't the original, but listening to the album now, I think she's definitely a better singer and she was fantastic overall.
Also, a mouse ran down the right aisle of the orchestra during the second act. I'd never seen one in a theatre, but being in the Lion King theatre, I immediately thought "Where is Scar?"
Go to the point of purchase and ask for an exchange. They're accommodating when they can be and also you can past date it and use it for a weekday performance that is not sold out.
If they don't want to dim the lights, won't there just be another ruckus ala Joan Rivers? I was thinking last night about how she probably would have landed a huge TV or Film had she not so often been contracted for Broadway and off-Broadway productions.
You can stop by Triton Gallery. I think they're open Mondays and buy a poster from the original show beforehand if you want to try and get that signed.
Theatre Extras seems to overall have the best selection. I've seen at least a dozen Broadway shows in the past 6 months through them and they also get sports games and concerts. Play by Play doesn't have quite as much, but they also get more Broadway than Gold Club. I have all of them and they definitely all pay for themselves.
