Im going back to the city to visit a friend and I already have tickets to see SA and Wicked, I'm going with my mom, who's never seen a broadway show. So im taking her to the 2 best shows playing right now. Even know ive seen both of them 4 times but anyways we need a Wed Mat and Im going to student rush one but i was wondering if anyone knew where the rush tickets were located in the theatre for the following shows:
Legally Blonde Little Mermaid Cry-Baby Xanadu and Grease
I know some have better student rush then others... It will just help me deciede.

Legally Blonde front two rows Little Mermaid whatever is available, totally up to the box office Cry-Baby front row Xanadu dont know if they have a rush anymore and Grease whatever is left, up to the box office
Anyone know if any of the student rush deals require that your student ID have some kind of date on it. My ID does not have a date. When I did Legally Blonde rush, I didnt have a problem but didnt know if other shows are more strict with this.
There are other good shows but the shows my mom would enjoy the best are Sa and Wicked. Ive see Gypsy and love it but my mom like more modern stuff. I dont knwo if she would care for Gypsy. It will be prolly be Cry Baby.

The only place I know that requires a dated ID is TDF. I've never had a problem at a theater (knock on wood). It's also impractical for a theater to ask you to show other proof that the ID is current. For TDF they can ask for documentation.
I've had a few theaters say something about there not being a date on my student ID. I just explain that my school doesn't date their ID's because the ID has a magnetic strip. Sometimes they give me a look like they think I'm lying, but I've never had anyone refuse to sell me tickets. I think it just depends on the box office employee and how much of a stickler they are.
Cape Twirl, how much were the TLM tickets each/how early did you have to be at the theater/what day of the week did you go etc? I'm surprised they had anything available let alone Row D in the Orchestra...were the seats good?

I went on Wednesday, April 9th & got a ticket for the evening show. I got there a couple minutes before 10am and was the second person to purchase rush seats. They were $26.50 each. The seats were fine! I was in the left section about 2 seats off the side aisle. I was surprised that such good seats were still available, but when I was there at night it looked like pretty much every seat in the Orchestra was full.
I hope it's two because I was planning on getting tickets for my aunt and cousin. But I could always bring a friend to get the second ticket. Does anyone know for sure?
