Post all of your ticket dates here. I want to send a letter to Local One with all of the people who are being affected by this stupid strike.

My Show:
December 2: The Drowsy Chaperone

"In theater, the process of it is the experience. Everyone goes through the process, and everyone has the experience together. It doesn't last - only in people's memories and in their hearts. That's the beauty and sadness of it. But that's life - beauty and the sadness. And that is why theater is life." - Sherie Rene Scott

And what makes you think, that, on the off-chance it lasts two months, it's not gonna go longer?

A strike? For over two months? Though that would be extremly depressing, wouldn't producers have figured out how to work around the strike by perhaps hiring intern stage hands until the strike ends?

If they were gonna try to find ways around the strike I would hope they'd do that before the Christmas season starts and they realize that they screwed themselves.

If the strike lasts 2 months Broadway is going to be in a hell of a lot of trouble! Many shows would not be able to recover from a hit like that.

Don't you think they already know how many people are being effected? If the crying kids outside of Grinch didn't tug their heartstrings, nothing will. Both sides know this.

Pointless. Pointless. Pointless.

Local One knows how many people they're affecting. THAT IS THE POINT OF A STRIKE.

I was unable to go to Les Miz on November 11 - 2pm. I bought the ticket a month ago. Luckily, I had seen many of the shows I was going to during my trip to NYC earlier in the week.

**Climbing up on soapbox**

What would get everybody's attention is if we; the fans, just stopped buying tickets. Too bad theater fans don't have the luxury of being represented by some self-important wanna-be guru leading people like just so many lemmings. If we; the fans, could ever get organized enough to say the hell with theatre even for a week - they would all realize just how un-important they are. Without us - they're all screwed. Power to the people!! re: For everyone with tickets to ANY Broadway show within the next two mont

**Climbing down off soapbox**

That said, I haven't bought a ticket for a show since last month because I saw the strike coming.
