Does The Lion King usually have SRO on weekdays/matinees? Has anyone tried this month? Thanks.

I might get SRO for this Sunday...how is the view...and is really that difficult to get if you go to the theater around...say 10-11?

There isn't a show this Sunday. Lion King resumes performances on Tuesday at the Minskoff.

FYI, there is no SRO in the new theatre. The Minskoff does not have room for SRO.

woe! It's going to minskoff already? That when by quickly. I wonder how it will play out there and what they changed about theatre...did they add box seats or did they slightly change the set so that the actors appear on the sides like they did at the New Amsterdam?

This is strange...it says here, on their updated box office page for the Minskoff, that they will be selling SRO:

Maybe they added it. I remmber there being room to put up standing room behind the orchestra.

Well who knows if that whole page was updated or not, cause Disney takes forever to update everything on their pages.

Anyway, SRO would be great. BTW, does anyone have a pic of what the theatre looks like inside?

I bought tickets inside the Minskoff box office last night. It looks like there is no way it'll be done by Tuesday. The windtunnel is still under construction, as is the theater lobby. Even the box office staff doesn't think it'll be done in time.

The "windtunnle"? Where is that in the show?

Any word on the house itself?

The wind tunnel is the alley that goes through the theatre and leads to the box office and stage door. Am I correct in saying this?
