Official Bernadette Peters in Hello, Dolly! performances thread  Mar 24 2018, 08:13:13 PM

Hoping to see this again at the Weds matinee next week - what are the chances of getting a decent single ticket at TKTS right before showtime?

Oh let’s not forget Good Vibrations!

'Snow Child' Georgia Stitt musical in development  Mar 10 2018, 11:04:17 AM
This is premiering at Arena Stage in April. I’ll actually be in DC on the first weekend of performances, but it seems like all tickets are $110. I know this is a subscriber house but that seems really high to me. Anyone have leads on discounts?

ONCE ON THIS ISLAND (2017) Previews  Nov 13 2017, 12:59:43 PM
That’s a path the actors use - Lea Salonga is often hanging out in that area. Seats should be fine. The show is AMAZING - enjoy!

The Wolves - LincTix  Sep 18 2017, 11:42:03 PM

I don't know the answer but I saw the workshop at Vassar and am so glad this show is having a good life in NY. A stunning piece.

Junk (the play) on Broadway  Aug 5 2017, 01:29:08 PM

I saw the workshop a few years back at Powerhouse and yes, if you liked The Big Short, you'll definitely enjoy this. I remember thinking it was very good, though quite different thematically from most of his other work. Will probably see it again this fall.

THE SECRET LIFE OF BEES Musical Workshop Begins Tonight  Jul 30 2017, 10:40:10 AM

Yes, the entire Powerhouse season is new work that is open to the public. I've been a subscriber for years.

THE SECRET LIFE OF BEES Musical Workshop Begins Tonight  Jul 29 2017, 11:48:39 PM

Saw this today! It's in excellent shape, with a strong score & book, and perfect casting. Sheik has workshopped a number of new shows at Powerhouse over the years and this is by far the best. Can definitely see this having a life in New York.

Sophia Anne Caruso is an insanely talented young woman and has plenty of chances to sing her face off in this show. I also particularly loved Uzo Aduba, Kecia Lewis, and Eisa Davis.

Youngsters at the Tonys  Jun 6 2017, 07:35:30 PM

Your Theatre Related Gifts!  Dec 25 2016, 08:30:22 PM

I got some TKTS gift certificates! Haven't had one in a few years - the last time I used one for $100 to buy one ticket, they gave me back the difference in cash. Do they still do that?
